Championship Night concludes thrilling racing season at Jennerstown Speedway
Jennerstown Speedway has become a must-see attraction. The racing is intense, compelling, thrilling and always competitive. The track is constantly trying to improve, bring in racing series’ and provide something new to the loyal fans.
Saturday, titles will be earned in all six divisions on Championship Night at the speedway. It will be the culmination of a memorable year of racing.
“It’s a bitter sweet feeling.” said Jennerstown Speedway general manager Bill Hribar about the season finale. “When the season comes to an end, it is exciting to look back at everything that was accomplished, and then use what we learned to make improvements for 2022.”
However, because of everything that goes into making a racing season successful and all of the amazing happenings this year, Hribar is a mixed bag of emotions as the season concludes.
Saler’s year
Michael Saler has locked up the Somerset Trust Fast N’ Furious 4’s Division championship. The Somerset driver has a 74-point lead over Caleb Vasos. Michael Mohle is third in the standings.
Saler has three wins and 12 top-5’s this season.
Hemminger’s dominance
The One Stop Auto Sales Pro Stocks Division has been controlled by high school freshman Will Hemminger. The Stoystown driver has seven wins in 12 races. He leads Chris Brink by 30 points. Dale Kimberly is 59 points back.

Too close to call
One of the most competitive divisions this season has been the Stoystown Auto Wreckers Modifieds. Tom Golik holds just a 5-point advantage over Anthony Aiello. Doug Glessner is a mere eight points back after a win last week. Glessner has the most wins in the division with seven, while Golik and Aiello each have three.
Saturday’s race will determine the season-long champion in the division.
