Jenners, PA (May 11, 2015): The new management team at the Jennerstown Speedway Complex LLC is preparing for the 2015 season. Tentative plans are for the speedway to open in June. The investors have finalized an agreement to lease the facility for four years with an option to buy. The group wanted at least a four year commitment to show the fans, drivers, and sponsors the long term plans for the track.
The team plans on running a limited season starting after Memorial Day. They will run local races as well as attempting to acquire Touring Shows such as the ARCA Truck Series. Future plans in 2016 include the very popular Super Modifieds.
The individuals involved include: Dennis Neri, Doug Damico, Larry Heminger, John Morocco and Richard Pollugruto. Snooky Williams will serve as General Manager.
I know several of the investors and they are all successful business men. Snooky Williams and I have had several discussions and everyone is excited about the future of Jennerstown Speedway.
They have a new website, facebook page, fax, and new phone numbers that will be up and running later this week.
