JENNERSTOWN, JUNE 24, 2023 – There were plenty of firsts Saturday night at Jennerstown
Speedway as 5 drivers made their way to victory lane for the first time this season.
In the first event of the evening—a Ron’s Collision Center Street Stocks make-up feature from
June 3--Angie Kimberly won her first race of the season aIer race leaders Kelly Shaulis, Brent
Bickerstaff, and Dale Kimberly were involved in a wreck along the front stretch with just 2 laps
remaining.
The night’s regular NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Series races began with Josh Dunmyer taking
the checkered flag in the first of two 25-lap feature events in the One Stop Auto Sales Pro Stocks
division.
“Racin’” Jason Busch collected his first win of the year in the Stoystown Auto Wreckers
Modifieds division, and Jeremy Shaffer held off track veteran Barry Awtey for his first career
Martella’s Pharmacies Late Models victory.
In the Somerset Trust Company’s Fast N’ Furious 4’s division, R.J Dallape broke a two-way tie for
most wins this season by outlasting the season’s other 3 time winner, Caleb Vasos, for victory
number 4 of the year.
After making repairs to his car from the evening’s earlier Street Stocks make-up feature, Brent
Bickerstaff joined the parade of first time winners by taking the regularly scheduled feature for
his first win of 2023.
The last of the evening’s first time winners was Aaron Van Fleet, who outlasted division leader
Will Hemminger, to claim his first win of the year in the second of two ProStocks 25-lap events
of the night.
The Integrity Coatings Chargers Division had the evening off.
